AFC Wimbledon Fans Club Band night

For a trio of AFC Wimbledon supporters, Saturday, 16 February, will be about much more than just the Dons beating Bradford City.

That’s because Nicole Hammond, Georgia Brickell and Jonny Wah Wah will all be taking to the Kingsmeadow Live stage for our AFC Wimbledon Fans Club Band night.

With all money raised going towards club funds, why not show your support after the Bradford game – win, lose or draw – by backing three of our own.

Jonny Wah Wah also brings his singing talents to the stage with On Trial UK, a band with a unique cabaret punk sound.  Georgia, who works for our AFC Wimbledon hospitality team on match days and has been a programme seller in the past, will also be performing live as part of an acoustic duo called Georgia Rose. All three bands performing on the night have an AFC Wimbledon supporter in their line-ups. Nicole Hammond is a guitarist for Mothers of Memphis, who have been hailed as “London’s favourite punk blues rockabilly country band”.

Commercial Executive, Jim Piddington, said: “All of our Kingsmeadow Live events raise money for the club and this promises to be a special evening with each of the three bands containing an AFC Wimbledon supporter. If this is successful then we are planning to stage more events like this.”
