A packed day of events at the club this Sunday
This Sunday offers a chance to enjoy all-day entertainment of the classic variety with a packed schedule of events at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
A Rockin’ Good Alldayer Vintage II aims to build on the success of what was achieved in October when over 300 people attended to browse through the vintage clothes, housewares and stalls in the room hosting the vintage market. There will again be a bustling market to browse around.
Music from the golden days of years gone by, including rocking tunes from DJs Miss Aloha & Reverend Boogie (Hula Boogie) and JG & the Ultimates will be provided, while Claire’s Diner will be providing all the food you would expect of a 50’s style diner at very reasonable prices too. Classic cars, bikes and scooters will also be on display and there’s a chance for you to get that classic look with hair and make-up expertly provided by Ginger & Greene before you are photographed by Dress Me Up & Shoot Me photographer Steve.
The full schedule for Sunday is as follows:
11.00 am: Market opens, hair and make-up opens, photo-shoot studio opens
11.00 am: Diner opens for tea and coffee
12 noon: Diner opens for lunch, bar opens, a DJ starts the party
1.30 pm: Jive class
2.00 pm: JG & the Ultimates
2.30 pm: DJ
4.00 pm Jive class
4.30 pm: JG & the Ultimates and people’s choice award
5.00pm: DJ
5:30pm: Diner closes
7:30pm: Event finishes
