Six of the best Dons goals from last year
There is still time for AFC Wimbledon supporters to have their say in choosing the club's entry for the 2012 Mitre Goal of the Year competition.
The Football League have launched the search to find the best goal from last year and we want Dons supporters to vote for one from the shortlist that our club panel has put together (entries must be with us by 10.00 am on Tuesday morning).
Goals scored in any Football League competition during the 2012 calendar year will be considered, including goals scored in the npower Football League, the Capital One Cup and the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Sammy Moore (Crewe Alexandra 3-3 Wimbledon, 25 February, 2012)
Wimbledon’s player of the season cut inside and let fly with a superb strike that started a memorable fightback with the Dons coming from 3-1 down to earn a dramatic draw in a six-goal thriller.
Billy Knott (Wimbledon 2-1 Macclesfield Town 1, 25 January, 2012)
The diminutive but classy midfielder struck his first Wimbledon goal in style when he received a Sam Hatton pass and unleashed an absolute screamer that arrowed into the top corner from 30 yards. It was a great way for Billy to endear himself to the Wimbledon faithful after joining on-loan from Sunderland.
Luke Moore (Port Vale 1-2 Wimbledon, 14 January, 2012)
Just when Wimbledon really needed one of their play-off heroes to step up to the mark after 12 games without a win, Luke provided a stylish winning goal with an emphatic strike.

Yet again, the dynamic midfielder provided a spark to lift Wimbledon. With Terry Brown and Stuart Cash having left the club, caretaker manager Simon Bassey led the Dons to their first victory since the opening day of the season. Sammy struck a magnificent volley from the edge of the area that bounced in off the crossbar to provide the perfect tonic for Simon with Terry and Stuart also in the Adams Park crowd.

The 18-year-old full-back scored his first Wimbledon goal in style when he cut inside from the left and unleashed a superb low drive that arrowed into the far corner.
Byron Harrison (Wimbledon 2-2 Dagenham & Redbridge 2, 1 September, 2012)
The striker may have now left for Cheltenham Town, but his early season goalscoring exploits are certainly not forgotten. This was arguably his best as he volleyed home from a ridiculously acute angle.
The winner will be decided at the glittering Football League awards ceremony at The Brewery, London on Sunday, 24 March 2013. Our nominated goal will then be entered in the Mitre Goal of the Year category at the Football League Awards 2013.
