Watch the film featuring Wimbledon heroes

Supporters can watch next Thursday’s Port Vale game for just a tenner and enjoy free pre-match entertainment with a film featuring Wimbledon heroes John Scales, Lawrie Sanchez and Terry Brown.

Common Ground in all the bars before Wimbledon's League 2 clash against promotion-chasers Port Vale from 6.45 pm until 7.15 pm and no tickets are required.We will be showing

Award winning NGO True Volunteer Foundation wrote and produced the film and put together an accompanying book to get children in Merton excited about sport. Common Ground depicts how Wimbledon Common was the breeding ground for so many sports and sporting champions. The film features a number of celebrities including Daley Thompson, Steve Cram, Sean Kerly and Will Greenwood.

 

Scales, Sanchez and Brown, along with Mick Pugh, Ivor Heller and Erik Samuelson share their memorable stories.

 

We have decided to slash prices for the Port Vale match with adult tickets available in the Tempest End and the East Stand for adults just £10 with £6 concessions and £2 for Under-16s.
