Ladies want new keeper

AFC Wimbledon vacancy for a key position and other areas

A new goalkeeper is a top priority for AFC Wimbledon Ladies with last season’s player of the year Damaris Ott set to miss part of 2013/14.

Damaris (pictured) is only available from September until December because she is returning to Germany and Wimbledon therefore require a new stopper, along with players for all areas.

AFC Wimbledon Ladies play in the Premier League of the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League (step 4/5). The Dons Ladies reached the first round proper of the FA Women’s Cup last season and they are looking for new players to boost their squad for the next campaign. They have retained several key players and manager Tony Milstead is hoping to recruit new talent to boost the squad further.

 

.  Trials location . Training is  held at the Kingston Road Recreation Ground (close to the Cherry Red Records Stadium) from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm. Dons GirlsAFC Wimbledon Girls also need new players for its teams at Under-10s, Under-11s, Under-13s, Under-14s, Under-15s, Under-18s and there is a Ladies Development squad (reserve team), but girls must be over 16 to participate at this level.
