Wimbledon's stance on a potential move to a new stadium
Following Thursday's item on BBC London News, we wish to make the following statement:
We are regularly approached for comments on various matters relating to the possible development of the greyhound stadium site in Plough Lane. We do not think it is helpful for us or our potential development partners, residents locally, supporters, the council and other stakeholders, to go on the record in response to every issue that is raised by the media.
However, we would like to reassure our supporters in particular that we continue to work diligently and carefully to these ends and that, despite the content of Thursday’s report, we are not aware of any major issues that prevent this work from continuing.
