Ray's auction provides further funds
The We Are Wimbledon Fund has received another boost following the success of Ray Armfield’s summer auction.
Wimbledon supporters provided a great response to Ray’s auction with a total of £1,120 raised from the six lots and these funds will now go directly towards the playing budget.
The FA Amateur Cup montage (Lot two), which contained a photograph of Wimbledon’s victorious team from 1963, attracted the biggest bid with a donation of £300.
