Event is rearranged for October
An Evening with David Weir has been rescheduled for a later date and will not take place on Friday, 22 March.
The event will now take place on Friday, 4th October, when London 2012 Paralympic hero David, who won four gold medals at the event, will be joined by his coach Jenny Archer (a former Wimbledon FC fitness coach).
It has been agreed with David and Jenny that due to the strict time constraints in David and the club’s schedules it would be a positive move to postpone the dinner until the autumn.
The dinner will raise funds for the Weir Archer academy, a charity set-up by David Weir CBE and Jenny Archer to provide first class accessible athletics for disabled athletes at all levels, and The Dons Trust.
