Talking to BBC Sport presenter Jacqui Oatley about Wimbledon’s superb recent run, Alan said: “It was pretty ugly on Saturday, but we have won four out of the last five games now. That is pretty good form at the moment. Morecambe played some good football at times on Saturday and we rode our luck a bit at times, but it is a results time now. The manager set us a target in January and we have got six of those wins already. I think one more win will get us there.”
On Wimbledon’s support, Alan added: “It is incredible, we had 1,300 supporters at the Aldershot game and it felt like a home match. The ownership of the club is there for everyone to see and it is a really great place to play football.”
