Wimbledon provide perfect response after Sophie's visit
AFC Wimbledon Under-18s produced their best performance of the season yesterday to earn an impressive victory at Watford.
Just two days after Olympic gold medal winner Sophie Hosking gave a motivational speech at the training ground, Mark Robinson’s side provided the perfect response by marching to a 2-0 win.

Despite playing in an unfamiliar right wing-back role, Tom Beere scored one of the goals and George Oakley netted the other. Youssouf Bamba provided both assists to spark the victory in the Football League Youth Alliance South East Region.
Academy Manager Mark Robinson said: “It was our best footballing performance of the season and a fully deserved win against a very good side."
