AFC Wimbledon Girls had a successful end to 2012/13 and the club are offering an opportunity for new players to boost their squads for next season.

A second round of open trials will be held this Saturday (between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm) for the following teams: Under-9s, Under-10s, Under-11s, Under-12s, Under-13s, Under-14s, Under-15s, Under-18s/Ladies Development team.

The club’s U11 girls ended the season as Champions in the Surrey County Girls League and several other teams secured high positions in their respective divisions.

There could be an opportunity to progress all the way through to the AFC Wimbledon Ladies team in the future and join the likes of Courtney Noble (pictured above), who helped the Dons into the first round proper of the FA Women’s Cup earlier this season.

The venue for the trials is: King George’s Playing Fields, Tudor Drive, Morden, Surrey, SM4 4PN. Contact club chairman, Dennis Lowndes, for information on 07718 534 993.
