A season in pictures from supporters
Last season’s Walk Further for Wimbledon challenge finished at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium and the event again summed up what AFC Wimbledon is all about.
A team of Wimbledon supporters (pictured above) raised funds for the Dons Trust and other nominated charities by walking to the Kent venue, before watching their side produce a stirring fightback to draw 2-2 against promoted Gillingham.
Following an excellent response to our request for your best photographs of 2012/13, we are pleased to publish another selection of your pictures.
The above gallery also includes eight-year-old Michael Lonsdale helping with the clear-up after the We Are Wimbledon Day on 1 April, a picture of young James Whittaker in his first Wimbledon kit (the Dons third strip) and Wimbledon players starting the party after Fleetwood (picture by Angela Widdup).
Also included in the selection is an action image of Toby Ajala getting stuck in during the Milton Keynes game (picture by Eddie Flynn), Jack Midson about to strike that all-important penalty against Fleetwood (picture by Matt Hewison), and Dons fan Charlie Talbot celebrating that win with Neal Ardley and Mike Rayner.
