Another pre-season fixture is confirmed
We are pleased to confirm another pre-season fixture today with a short trip to Sutton United pencilled in for Saturday, 20 July (3.00 pm kick-off).
The match at Gander Green Lane is the third pre-season fixture that we have so far announced with Dartford away (Saturday, 6 July) and Charlton Athletic at home (Wednesday, 17 July) making up Wimbledon’s schedule so far.
AFC Wimbledon last visited Blue Square South outfit Sutton at the end of last season for a Surrey Senior Cup tie. Manager Neal Ardley has already indicated that Wimbledon’s young professional players could feature in the early pre-season matches and Sutton-raised Chace Jacquart (pictured) may make an appearance.
