Club presence at Winter Wonderland
Neal Ardley and his players will be joining in the Christmas spirit at Wimbledon town centre on Sunday, 1 December, as part of the Winter Wonderland celebrations.
Wimbledon’s players, management and Haydon the Womble (pictured) will provide a significant club presence at the Centre Court Shopping Centre from 12 noon when they will hold a Q & A session for supporters to ask them about the season so far and more. There will then be an opportunity to meet Neal and the players afterwards as part of the festive fun.
The High Street will also be closed off as part of this and the AFC Wimbledon Community Football Scheme will be on hand to with their inflatable penalty shoot-out. Wimbledon town centre will be filled with Christmas cheer on the day with Santa's Grotto, live music and much more.
Celebrity guests from this year's Wimbledon theatre pantomime will be present, including the Flawless dance crew, who were runners-up in Britain’s Got Talent a few years ago.
There will be an added attraction at this year’s Winter Wonderland with a spectacular fireworks display scheduled to take place at 5.15 pm from the rooftop of the Centre Court Shopping Centre.
