says that AFC Wimbledon must be more aggressive if they are to turn around a disappointing sequence of results.George Francomb

ahead of tomorrow’s match at Morecambe, the ex-Norwich wide-man said: “It is all well and good us talking up our performances when we are winning, but now we have to be big characters. The last few performances have not been up to scratch. You can work on set-pieces as much as you like, but it comes down to desire and not allowing the man who you are supposed to be marking to score. We need to be more aggressive in both boxes. Francomb, who has missed just one match this season since joining Wimbledon in the summer, added that the players still retain belief in their ability.

“It is a long season of 46 games and even the team that wins the league will have a tough spell,” he said. “It is now when our squad has to come through. We have a good squad in terms of depth and everyone is going to play their part now.”
