Dons Ladies Development squad close in on first round proper

AFC Wimbledon Ladies will be aiming for FA Cup glory of their own this Sunday when the club’s development squad have a chance to reach the first round proper.

Just five days before the men take on Coventry City at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, the Dons Ladies will be aiming to earn their own slice of FA Cup history.

In just their first season since the club launched a development side, AFC Wimbledon’s young squad have upset the odds to beat two opponents so far and another win at Chichester Town would see them emerge from the qualifying rounds.
