, Frampton (pictured above), said: “They are a very good side at this level and their work rate was second to none. They will definitely be up there come the end of this season. It was a tough afternoon for us, but we had quite a few chances ourselves. When you come to places like this, all 11 of your players and substitutes need to graft and it felt like we did that. They just got goals at critical times. Their goalkeeper (Tommy Lee) had an outstanding game and he got man of the match, which tells you a lot. But it is gone now and we have to look forward to next Saturday.”Dons PlayerSpeaking to Rob Cornell on

That opportunity to bounce back will be against another of the promotion contenders with Burton Albion visiting the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Saturday. So far this season, Wimbledon have managed to respond to each league defeat with a victory in the next game, a trend that Frampton is eager to continue.

“You cannot go all season without losing and you are always going to get your knockbacks,” Frampton added. “That happens to the top sides and it is about how you bounce back from defeats. It is now all about how quickly we can do this and we have to aim to put things right next week. The way that Chesterfield attacked showed how teams can punish their opponents at any level by doing it at speed, but we have to put that behind us now. We need to regroup again and get ready for next Saturday.”

Tickets can be purchased online in advance for the Burton match by clicking on  AFC Wimbledon  and they can also be bought in person from the club office (9.30 am until 5.00 pm).
