A variety of entertainment on Saturday and Sunday
We have an action-packed schedule of entertainment at the Cherry Red Records Stadium this weekend with live music followed by “Rock and Roll Sunday”.
On Saturday, Kingsmeadow Live will have a different vibe with music from renowned blues band Nine Below Zero, who have been revitalised in recent years after earning a cult following in the 1980s when they appeared on The Young Ones.

Local band The Past Tense will be starting the live music at 8.45 pm with Nine Below Zero taking to the stage at approximately 10.00 pm. Doors open at 8.00 pm.
On Sunday is the return of an event that has gone from strength to strength with A Rockin’ Good Vintage Day III.
There’s a chance to throw on your best 50s clothes as there will be vintage market stalls, jive classes and live music from Scarlett Rae and The Cherry Reds. The day will also feature a classic car, bike and scooter show and a 1950s style diner.
Doors open for this event at 11.00 am and the event goes on until 6.30 pm. Entry is £7 on the door, but free to classic car drivers and scooter riders (passengers £5). Kids can gain free entry.
