Under-21 competition open to spectators on Tuesday

AFC Wimbledon’s young talents have a chance to impress tomorrow night at the Cherry Red Records Stadium in the inaugural Premier League Cup for Under-21s.

This match (7.00 pm start) is open to spectators and we are hoping supporters will come along to cheer on the Dons against Gillingham in the first qualifying round of a competition that is open to Premier League and Football League clubs that hold licenses to operate academies.

Clubs can field three outfield players over the age of 21, as well as a goalkeeper. Will Antwi is therefore likely to increase his match sharpness in the tie and Kevin Sainte-Luce should also feature. Under-21 Development Coach Shaun North will be able to offer young professionals Chace Jacquart, Youssouf Bamba (pictured), Charlie Fayers, Tom Beere and Harry Cooksley a chance to impress at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
