Big crowd set for County

High demand for Bank Holiday match

Tickets for Wimbledon's Good Friday clash against Newport County AFC are selling extremely well and we are expecting a near capacity crowd for this match.

At the time of writing, we only have around 500 tickets remaining for home areas. Though we expect a number to be available on the day, we advise supporters to book in advance if possible to avoid disappointment.

Friday’s match will have added spice with the first competitive return to the Cherry Red Records Stadium for several former Dons currently playing for Newport County AFC (Christian Jolley, Ryan Jackson, Ismail Yakubu and Lee Minshull are all pictured in the photograph above at AFC Wimbledon’s homecoming party after play-off final glory in Manchester).

Below are ticket details about Wimbledon’s three other remaining matches this season:

Plymouth Argyle away (Monday, 21 April)

This match is not all-ticket and tickets will be available to purchase on the day. We have been given an allocation of tickets to sell in advance at a reduced rate and these can be purchased online or from our club offices (information above), or before and after this Friday’s home match.

We have a number of places remaining on the supporters’ coach at the price of £20 per seat. The coach leaves South Wimbledon at 7.30 am and our stadium at 8.00 am. To book a place contact 020 8547 3528, or alternatively places can be reserved before or after Friday’s match.

Morecambe (Saturday, 26 April)

to sell-out in the next few days. We expect both the Nongshim and Paul Strank stands Tickets are now on sale for the final home match of the 2013/14 season. Though this match is not all-ticket, we recommend that those supporters wishing to book a seat do so as soon possible.

Accrington Stanley (Saturday, 3 May)

Our trip to Accrington Stanley on the final day of the season is not all-ticket and no tickets will be sold in advance. We will be running a supporters’ coach to this game at the price of £20 per person. The coach leaves South Wimbledon at 8.00 am and our stadium at 8.30 am.
