Running order for a busy day at the club
It will be a busy day at the club tomorrow with player of the year awards taking place and potential Dons stars of the future being paraded before the crowd.
Below is an approximate running order of what will be going on tomorrow:
Pre-match (approximately 2.40 pm)
Awards ceremony on the pitch for Junior Dons Player of the Year and Radio WDON Player of the Year.
Half-time
A presentation of next season’s Under-9s and the four players chosen to receive scholarships for the Under 18s.
Post-match
The players will do a lap of the pitch and 30 minutes later in the middle bar will follow the remaining player of the year awards (Jack Midson is pictured receiving his award last season from Maureen Batsford and Neal Ardley) The awards will be for the man of the match against Morecambe, before the Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year accolades are presented.
