A degree that makes the most of your football interest

An unbeatable opportunity to utilise your passion for football to fuel your graduation goals is now up for grabs.

The Football League Trust and The Open University have teamed up to offer a new career path for those wishing to combine football and business.

You can now study for a BA (Hons) Business Management (Sport & Football) degree. It’s an option with a football focus in which you can select specific business and sports modules to match your career ambitions.

With a flexibility to tailor learning around your free time, regular workshops at inspiring Football League stadia, and a chance to develop business skills transferable beyond sport, the course offers a perfect platform for those looking to promote their career to a higher league.

Angus Martin, The Football League Trust's Business Development for Education Manager, said: "We are delighted to be working with The Open University on such an exciting project.

"Football has a tremendous power to engage people and we feel that by making much of the learning football related, many people will progress to achieve their Business Management degree and improve their career prospects.

"Some people may end up getting jobs in football through doing this degree but that is not our main intention here, the focus is on people achieving a respected Business Management degree that they can use in virtually any career."
