Exhibition images and the latest on consultation process

AFC Wimbledon unveiled its plans for a new stadium back in Plough Lane earlier this summer and the club is very pleased to report that all three exhibitions were well attended.

There was a high level of support at the exhibitions staged at Lola Jones Hall, Tooting, and Wimbledon Park Hall.

In partnership with Galliard Homes, club officials, along with representatives of the planning and transport team for the stadium project, were on hand to talk in more detail about the proposals.

The club enjoyed good feedback from fans and local residents at the exhibitions about these plans and we wish to thank everyone who attended for a high level of support.

Our photograph above shows Chris Thorpe taking a close look at stadium plans and the picture gallery shows plenty of other people at the exhibitions (thanks to Zoe Linkson for supplying some of the images).

Given the high levels received, consultation responses are still being collated and we are therefore not yet able to confirm the results of our pre-planning consultation. However, as the consultation process is still ongoing, those who have not yet responded are encouraged to have their say by visitinghttp://www.redevelopingploughlane.co.uk/

A summary of the consultation results will be submitted as part of the planning application.
