Ideal candidate will drive forward the AFC Wimbledon Foundation charity
AFC Wimbledon’s astonishing journey took the club from starting with nothing to the Football League in only nine years.
The latest exciting step has been to establish a charity - the AFC Wimbledon Foundation - and we wish to appoint an Executive Director to drive our vision forward.
This full-time role will involve working with existing staff, volunteers and new recruits to develop the charity. They will be responsible for developing a distinctive brand for the AFC Wimbledon Foundation and will oversee a community programme that fits in with the club’s aim of enhancing social inclusion and well-being in its community. The successful candidate will report to the Chair of the Trustees.
Fundraising experience and knowledge of building a successful project is desirable. While this is a challenging role, it is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a new charity at a football club.
