AFC Wimbledon has formed a charity, The AFC Wimbledon Foundation, to bring together all the work the club and Dons Trust carry out in the community. The Foundation now wishes to appoint an Executive Director to drive our vision forward.
The successful candidate will report to the Chair of the Trustees. They will be responsible for developing a distinctive brand for the AFC Wimbledon Foundation and will oversee a community programme that fits in with the club’s aim of enhancing social inclusion and well-being in its community. This full-time role will involve working with existing staff, volunteers and new recruits to develop the charity.
Fundraising experience and knowledge of building a successful project is desirable. While this is a challenging role, it is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a new charity at a football club.
As a fans-owned club, AFC Wimbledon has earned a reputation as a friendly, family club, and you will be at the forefront of ambitions to engage with our community.
