Live TV matches in the bars

6 February 2014

Plenty going on at the club on Saturday

There’s plenty of incentive to make a day of it at AFC Wimbledon for the Rochdale match with a double bill of Premier League action being shown live in the bars.

The top-four clash between Liverpool and Arsenal will be live on BT Sport from 12.45 pm with the bars opening at midday. And there’s another live TV game to stick around for after the Dons have hopefully beaten Rochdale with the South Wales derby between Swansea and Cardiff being shown after the man of the match presentation.

The main bar and the President’s Lounge will be staying open until late, but the back bar will shut at 6.00 pm to allow for preparations for the poker competition.

Bars Manager Mat Ansell (pictured above) will be offering a warm welcome and staff will be serving up a wide selection of drinks. Real ale lovers will be in for a treat with Hogsback TEA served in the back bar, along with London Pride and Hook Norton Lion in the main bar.

The bars at the club have significantly cut down on waiting times this season and supporters can pre-order their drinks in the back bar for collection at half-time.
