Newport County have laid down pitch covers in an effort to get tonight’s scheduled match on.
There was heavy rain in South Wales overnight, but club officials and volunteers at Newport have worked hard to beat the elements after five postponed games at Rodney Parade so far this season.
We will not know any news until early afternoon about the prospects of Newport versus Wimbledon going ahead.
