Club represented at Wimbledon Village Fair
AFC Wimbledon will once again be out in the community this Saturday with a significant presence at the Wimbledon Village Fair.
Young Dons will have an opportunity to meet Haydon the Womble (pictured above) on home turf as he will be at the free event from 11 am until 2.00 pm and the club will be handing out new 2014/15 fixture lists at the festival.
There will also be a chance to test your football skills at the Wimbledon Village Fair with our award-winning Community Football Scheme running its beat the keeper and inflatable shoot-out competitions.
The club shop team will also be attending so you can purchase official AFC Wimbledon merchandise on the day.
The club encourages as many supporters as possible to wear blue and yellow colours to spread the word about AFC Wimbledon! Since the club’s rebirth in 2002, AFC Wimbledon has had a stall every year at an event that attracts 20,000 people to Wimbledon Common.
Mr Potato, a character from popular children’s cartoon Peppa Pig, will open the Wimbledon Village Fair at 11.00 am on Saturday and the event goes on until 5.30 pm.
