Cricket offer to support club mascot
There’s extra incentive to get behind Haydon the Womble’s latest challenge as Dons supporters can gain reduced price entry at the Surrey versus Middlesex T20 Blast match on Friday night.
All U-16s will be admitted for £1 at all times. The race, which is being run at half-time in the T20 Blast match, will pitch Haydon in against plenty of other mascots from the world of sport. There are currently nineteen declared runners for the race!
The cricket game itself promises to be a great spectacle with cricket stars including Kevin Pietersen, Jade Dernbach and Irish big-hitter Kevin O’Brien all lining up for Surrey against their fierce London rivals Middlesex. The Kia Oval is one of the finest cricket grounds in the world and the perfect location for some T20 action on a Friday night.
The game starts at 6.30pm with the mighty mascots set to take the field at around 7.45pm.
