An evening of entertainment at the club

The Dons Trust fundraising group is delighted to announce an evening event that is sure to provide plenty of entertainment for Wimbledon supporters.

Goalkeeper Coach Ashley Bayes (pictured), who has worked up a great rapport with supporters since joining the club last year and is also known as "Bayzo", will head-up a quartet of Wimbledon personalities who play vital roles behind the scenes.

This buffet event will take place on Friday, 6 February (7.30 pm start) at the club.

Simon has previously led a line-up of former players from the early days of AFC Wimbledon at one of these evenings in the past and that was a tremendous success. Physio Stuart Douglas, Sports Scientist Jason Moriarty and first-team coach Simon Bassey will all offer insight into the current Dons set-up.

We expect to see some familiar faces from the club’s past at this event too, but the emphasis will be on getting to hear from those characters who drive the club forward behind the scenes.

The event at the Cherry Red Records Stadium aims to build on last season’s highly entertaining Gossip, Goals and Glory evening.
