Wimbledon then lost in the Youth Alliance Cup at Milton Keynes, but manager Mark Robinson says the Under-18s must stay true to their footballing principles.

“It’s important to have a consistent message about how you are going to play and develop players who are comfortable on the ball all over the pitch,” said Robinson. “We’ve had a drop in results, but there are still plenty of positives. “It’s important that the boys keep focused and strive to have a winning mentality, while remembering that they have to be brave in their football to develop them as individuals.”
