Funds raised for club thanks to event
We wish to thank organisers of our Silent Auction and supporters with £2,625 having been raised for club funds.
This included £750 for the iconic Wimbledon image of Dave Beasant saving John Aldridge’s penalty in 1988, signed by the Dons hero. The best seller also came with the bonus of an original WFC club shop commemorative sweatshirt.
Organisers Ray Armfield and Paul Jeater held a final bidding event in the middle bar before Saturday’s Stevenage game and they wished to thank all those that helped to make it another successful auction.
