Neal sets plan for pair

1 December 2015

Duo aim to be back later this month

Neal Ardley said he hopes to have Andy Barcham and James Shea back in match action later this month with both players having made good progress recently.

Barcham has been out since the Morecambe game on 17 October with a medial ligament (MCL) injury to his left knee and that was also Shea’s last game in a Dons shirt due to a groin injury.

However, winger Barcham and goalkeeper Shea are expected to join in full training next week.

Neal Ardley said: “We have had a good meeting about it and we are hoping that Andy and James will be back training full on with the first-team in the week of 7 December. That is the aim for them without any setbacks. We then have a couple of Under-21 games within the two weeks after that and a chance to get them back where they need to be going into a busy Christmas schedule.”
