Christmas holiday matches are always popular and it may be worth booking a place soon to avoid disappointment.
Both sides will be determined to bag three points at Christmas. The Dons will be aiming to build on Saturday’s much-improved second-half display by getting back to winning ways. However, Rovers have made a bright start to life back in League 2 as they are currently seventh in the table and they will be bidding to stay in play-off contention.
This Saturday’s match will bring back memories of Wimbledon’s first game back in the Football League after promotion, which ended in a 3-2 defeat.
Rovers also provided the opposition for Neal Ardley’s first victory in charge with Wimbledon triumphing 3-1 in October 2012 (the picture above shows George Francomb in action during that game).
We would appreciate season ticket holders letting us know if they are not planning to attend this match.
This will enable us to make returns available for supporters to buy tickets for the game.
