Neal: back stadium bid

2 February 2015

Final day for submssions to the council

Today is the final opportunity for letters to be sent to Merton Council in support of a new stadium – and Neal Ardley is urging people to play their part.

At a time when supporters around the country are awaiting news on transfer deadline day, there’s an even more important issue for Dons fans at a critical time for the club’s new stadium bid.

Local residents and supporters have until 11.59 pm tonight to complete online letters to Merton Council in support of the planning application. Visit:http://bringthedonshome.org/  for more details.

Neal Ardley said: “This is absolutely vital. There has been so much work going on behind the scenes and we’re at the final hurdle now. We need as many people as possible to let the council know how much support there is for this. The players have tweeted about it to help get the word out there. Everyone can play their part and if you haven’t sent in a letter yet, then let’s get it done. We all want to make sure that we get this over the line.”
