Part closure of M40 will affect journeys to Shrewsbury
We wish to inform supporters travelling by car to Shrewsbury today that the M40 is currently closed between junction 9 and 10.
At the time of writing, delays start as far back as junction eight after an accident on the M40. The M1 is also closed due to an accident between junction 12 and 13.
An alternative route (one that our supporters’ coach is taking) is to go via the M4, A34, A4260 and then re-join the M40 at junction 11.
Obviously, this route will take longer so supporters should leave more time if they wish to get to the game on time.
