Andy added for fun event

Dons defender added to the mix

Andy Frampton will join AFC Wimbledon's backroom staff for a light-hearted insight into life behind the scenes at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Friday, 6 February (7.30 pm start).

The Dons Trust fundraising group plays host to an event headed up by Goalkeeper Coach Ashley Bayes, also known as “Bayzo", who has worked up a great rapport with supporters.

Physio Stuart Douglas, Sports Scientist Jason Moriarty and first-team coach Simon Bassey will all be on stage to provide plenty of banter and stories about their football careers in an event called “Boys from the Backroom”.

Tickets are on sale  at £25 per person, or £200 for a table of ten, and can be bought via the club’s online ticket shop under Special Events.

  Simon Bassey has previously led a line-up of former players from the early days of AFC Wimbledon at one of these evenings in the past and that was a tremendous success.

We expect to see some familiar faces from the club’s past at this event too, but the emphasis will be on hearing from those characters instrumental in driving the club forward behind the scenes.

The buffet event at the Cherry Red Records Stadium aims to build on last season’s highly entertaining Gossip, Goals and Glory evening.
