Get in the mood for Carlisle game with re-run of epic cup tie
There’s extra incentive to get here early and enjoy a drink before Saturday’s Carlisle match as we will be showing a re-run of the Dons versus Liverpool FA Cup match.
Of course, AFC Wimbledon pushed Brendan Rodgers’ men all the way last Monday and it needed a free-kick from Steven Gerrard to decide the outcome. All the bars will be opening up at 12 noon on Saturday with TV screens showing the match in its entirety from 12.30 pm.
It may be worth arriving early to get a good seat and enjoy a repeat of one of AFC Wimbledon’s biggest games since the club’s rebirth. The re-run will finish at 2.45 pm and we hope it will get fans in the mood to cheer Neal Ardley’s men onto victory against Carlisle.
Hot Rekorderlig cider will be served in the bars with Plough Lane Ale (PLA) and Hogsback TEA in the middle bar. Tetley Cask Special will be available in the back bar for as long as supplies last, before making way for PLA.
We wish to add that the club had excellent bar takings for the Liverpool game and this is testament to our fans for their support. Bars Manager Mat Ansell said that our new Plough Lane Ale proved popular on the big night with 52 gallons consumed.
