Three-day event starts at 5.00 pm on Friday

The inaugural Ale FC Wimbledon beer festival gets underway tomorrow with an opportunity to sample a wide selection of drinks and watch the Ashes on a big screen.

Thanks to our partnership with The Wimbledon Brewery, over 40 cask ales, ciders, perries and craft beers will be available to taste at the Cherry Red Records Stadium from tomorrow at the three-day festival (Friday until Sunday).

Of course, the Dons host Watford this Saturday in the Championship Manager Cup and there is plenty going on during the course of the three days.

Below is a summary of what you can expect on each day of the beer festival:

Friday 10 July (5.00 pm – 1.00 am)

(from 5.00 pm). - third day of the Ashes Test on the big screen

place at around 7.00 pm. - presentation and Q & A with Derek Prentice (master brewer at the Wimbledon Brewery) will take

- 1.00 am) Saturday 11 July (12 noon

- fourth day of the Ashes Test on the big screen - 12pm

- Oompah Brass at 2.30 pm

- Oompah Brass at 6.00 pm

Sunday 12 July (12 noon – 6.00 pm)

Final day of the Ashes Test on the big screen from 12 noon onwards.

Token Package

1 one third of a pint token - £1.50

4 x one third of a pint tokens - £5.00

All beer tokens entitle you to a third of a pint. Multiple tokens can be used simultaneously.

Glassware:

As well as the limited edition Ale FC Wimbledon pint glass, plastic glasses will be available throughout the day. No glassware will be allowed to leave the beer festival vicinity until after the match on Saturday. As you cannot take your glass into the stadium for the game, return it to us and you'll be given a token. At half-time and after the game you will be able to exchange your token back for a pint glass.

Food:

In addition to our regular caterers, Hans Wurst will be providing a selection of traditional, authentic and delicious German street food to really compliment the ales.
