Help us prepare for Watford

Preparations continue today for the build-up to what’s shaping up to be an exciting season ahead, as we prepare for the visit of Premier League Watford for the Football Manager Cup (next Saturday, kick-off 3pm).

Our army of volunteers were hard at work yesterday getting the Cherry Red Records Stadium ready for our opening pre-season friendly. Our photo shows long-serving Wimbledon supporter and volunteer Mark Lewis with his twin sons Ben and Tom giving the Your Golf Travel terrace a fresh coat of blue!

There’s still jobs that need completing, so if you do have some spare time we’d be most grateful for your extra support once again, as we look to ensure our stadium is in pristine condition.

If you can spare an hour or two or longer, work finishes at 5.00 pm. Most tools will be provided, but it would be appreciated if you can bring along your own items, in particular power washers.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and lunch will be served.

Tickets can now be purchased online for a match billed as the Football Manager Cup, with both sides sponsored by Sports Interactive.
