Captain backs the campaign
AFC Wimbledon captain Barry Fuller has spoken about the importance of supporting our campaign to help children in war zones around the world.
There has been a great response from Dons fans for our campaign, which supports War Child and the AFC Wimbledon Foundation, with 330 earphones sold at the current time of writing.
Barry, who has three children, said: “It is great that our club is supporting the War Child charity because it is a worldwide effort to boost a very good cause. As I watch my kids playing in the garden, there are children in war zones that are not so lucky. They don’t get the upbringing that children over here get. If this campaign helps children in war zones then it can only be a good thing.”
