Mark pledges his support before taking on New Zealand

England cricketer Mark Wood has taken time out from his busy schedule to back our campaign for War Child and the AFC Wimbledon Foundation.

Mark, who has been playing a key role in England’s attack during the one day internationals against New Zealand, urged supporters to continue backing a campaign that has had an excellent response since its launch last week.

“Make sure you try and show your support for the AFC Wimbledon Foundation and War Child UK by ordering a pair of earphones,” said the 25-year-old seam bowler. They are two fantastic causes.”

There has been a great response from Dons fans for our campaign, which supports War Child and the AFC Wimbledon Foundation, with 347 earphones sold at the current time of writing.

War Child provide life-changing support to the most vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war.

The campaign asks supporters to pre-order a high-spec pair of earphones for £20 that are designed in the AFC Wimbledon colours with a War Child mic.

AFC Wimbledon will be sharing the profits of each pre-order 50/50 between the AFC Wimbledon Foundation and War Child.
