Match confirmed for late July
We are pleased to confirm another pre-season fixture with a match against the club’s ground-sharing tenants Kingstonian on Thursday, 30 July (7.45 pm kick-off).
The match at the Cherry Red Records Stadium will be Wimbledon’s penultimate friendly game before the 2015/16 Sky Bet League 2 season gets underway on the weekend of 8/9 August.
AFC Wimbledon had plenty of friendlies and cup matches against Ks in the early years after the club’s rebirth and the picture above shows Luke Garrard battling for possession in the Surrey Senior Cup Final in 2006.
This match will be a testimonial for long-serving Kingstonian goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey, who has made 277 appearances for Ks.
The following ticket prices will apply: £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for students.
