Over 32,000 followers shows interest in the club
We are pleased to report that AFC Wimbledon’s official Twitter account increased substantially in popularity last season and our number of followers passed the 32,000 mark in the last few days.
Interest grew considerably at the time of Wimbledon’s FA Cup tie against Liverpool in January with around 3,000 extra followers wanting to know more about the club.
With regular updates every day about club news figures have continued to rise.
Our current total of 32,012 followers is the fourth best in League 2 out of the 24 clubs that will start next season. Only Portsmouth (58,703), Plymouth Argyle (34,003) and Luton Town (32,087) currently have more followers.
