Midfielder is now eligible to play for the Dons
We can confirm that Christian Toonga is eligible for selection after international clearance was received for the 17-year-old midfielder.
With Toonga having previously played at Cardiff City, AFC Wimbledon required international clearance to play him and because he is under the age of 18 it needed approval from FIFA.
While that process was ongoing, it meant that Toonga could not play for our development squad or the first-team.
Londoner Toonga signed for Wimbledon in the summer after spells with Cardiff, Southampton and Arsenal.
