Dons at Plymouth in cup

14 September 2015

Alan Reeves' squad at Home Park tomorrow

AFC Wimbledon face Plymouth Argyle once again tomorrow when the Dons aim to make progress in the Under-21 Premier League Cup.

Following two first-team games against the Green Army already this season, Alan Reeves’ Under-21s travel to Home Park tomorrow (2.00 pm kick-off).

The match is a first qualifying round tie in the national competition and Wimbledon will be aiming to repeat last season’s 1-0 win at the same stage against AFC Bournemouth.

Our U-21s will go into the match in confident mood after winning their first two matches in the Final Third Development League.

George Oakley (pictured) will be aiming to maintain his prolific form after scoring in victories against Cambridge United and AFC Bournemouth this season.

A total of 47 teams are in the competition with category one academy clubs, including holders Southampton, entering at the last-32 stage.

The first qualifying round is for category three academy clubs.

Entry prices are £4 for adults and £2 concessions at tomorrow’s game.
