Defender impressed Irish coach in May
Ryan Sweeney has earned international recognition once again after being called up for the Ireland U-19 squad.
The 18-year-old Dons academy product, who made three first-team appearances at the end of 2014/15, has been added to Paul Doolin’s squad for two friendly internationals against Ukraine in Limerick.

“Ryan Sweeney has done well with Wimbledon and was injured last time so it'll be good to work with him,” said Doolin.
The two friendly matches will be held from 10-12 October and they are being used as preparation for the UEFA U-19 Championships Qualifying Round, which takes place in Galway and Limerick in November.
