Dons v Crawley double

14 April 2016

Ladies also take on opponents from Sussex on Saturday

An AFC Wimbledon side will be aiming to get the better of Crawley before the big first-team game kicks off on Saturday afternoon.

Our Foundation has recently been putting on football sessions for ladies over the age of 30 and on Saturday they have their first game against Crawley Town Old Girls.

The game starts at 12 noon at the nearby Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre and we wish our ladies every success against their opponents from Sussex.

Emma O’Connor, Football Development Officer for Female and Disability at AFC Wimbledon Foundation, has worked hard to encourage more ladies to take up the sport (Emma is pictured with the trophy that's up for grabs tomorrow). The ladies have been taking part in kickabouts on Saturdays before first-team home matches and new players are welcome.

E-mail femalefootball@afcwimbledonfoundation.org.uk   to book a place (just £2 to play). Alternatively, contact Emma on 07824536545.
