Regular at AFC Wimbledon Foundation sessions given special honour
Amy Hurry will tomorrow have the honour of leading AFC Wimbledon out in our first home match in English Football League One.
Amy, who is a regular participant at the AFC Wimbledon Foundation’s female-only Down's Syndrome football sessions, will be ball bearer for the game against Bolton Wanderers as part of an EFL community initiative.
Accompanied by a member of her family, Amy will lead the two teams onto the pitch shortly before the two teams kick-off at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
The AFC Wimbledon Foundation hold Down's Syndrome football sessions on Sundays between 12 noon and 1.00 pm at Southfields Academy.
