Barcham relishes Christmas football schedule
Andy Barcham said he’s raring to go again after putting a frustrating spell on the sidelines fully behind him.
Fit-again Barcham, who returned as a late substitute against Port Vale and boosted his sharpness with a run-out in the midweek London Senior Cup tie, said he’s relishing the football schedule over Christmas.
Speaking during an interview for Dons Player, Barcham said: “I personally like the Christmas period, it’s nice. Obviously, Christmas is a great time for everyone, but playing football makes it that bit more special. Hopefully we can have a good period. I am delighted to be back. It’s been a frustrating time, it always is when you are out. It was difficult not being a part of it, but it was great that the boys carried on doing well. I’m really happy to be back just in time for the Christmas period.”
